Doris Kyriazis

Head of the Department of Linguistics

Assistant Professor of Historical Linguistics

Doris Kyriazis studied Philology, with a specialization in Linguistics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and graduated in 1986. He has worked as an academic associate of the Institute of Linguistics of the Albanian Academy of Science (1987-1991) and as an assistant and compiler of the Dictionary of Medieval Greek Popular Literature by Professor E. Kriaras (1992-1996, 1997-1998). He then taught in the Department of Balkan Studies in the University of Western Macedonia (Florina, 2000-2006). Since September 2006, he has been a member of the teaching staff of the Department of Linguistics, School of Philology, Faculty of Philosophy, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
